OUIAA Hosts the 2nd Game Day to Promote Student Exchange

🎮 The 2nd Game Day Recap!

The Okayama University International Alumni Association (OUIAA) held its 2nd Game Day on July 9. The event was organized to promote interaction and friendship among students, including international and Japanese students, through activities such as board games and home video game consoles.

Following the success of the first Game Day held in January of the same year, the second event attracted 17 participants, approximately twice the number of participants from the first event.

This time, the event was enhanced with a wider variety of board games as well as opportunities to enjoy games using home video game consoles. Through these activities, students deepened their connections, made new friends, and shared an enjoyable time together.

Studying abroad is not only about academic pursuits but also provides valuable opportunities for personal growth through interactions with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. At this Game Day event, international and Japanese students were able to interact in a relaxed atmosphere and strengthen mutual understanding. The venue was filled with smiles throughout the event, creating a memorable experience for all participants.

OUIAA will continue to organize events such as Game Day to foster connections among current students and alumni, as well as between international and Japanese students, contributing to the development of a vibrant campus community where students from diverse backgrounds can connect and engage with one another.
