🎤 TEDx Okayama University 2025: “Bricks”

📍 On April 20, 2025, @tedxokadai made history as the first university TEDx event in the Chugoku region, bringing inspiring ideas into the heart of the community to help nurture innovation and change.

🍛 Alongside the talks, @the_world_kitchen_official event was held and offered attendees a chance to experience global cuisines in a vibrant atmosphere.

💡 Held at Okayama University’s 50th Anniversary Hall, the event centered around the theme “Bricks”, encouraging participants to reflect on what it takes to build a foundation for ourselves and our future generations.

📚 The event featured seven speakers from diverse fields, including education, business and social impact, alongside two student presenters who shared their unique perspectives about the potential of local communities

✅ Some notable speakers included:
🔹Ai Taguchi – entrepreneur and founder of MAAHA Inc., transforming Ghana’s chocolate industry.
🔹Hideaki Fukutake – chairman of Benesse Holdings, advocating for education and community-building through art.
🔹Ken Takahashi – medical professor at Okayama University, sharing insights on public health innovations & technology.
🔹Toshiyuki Matsuda – CEO of Ryobi Holdings, discussing business and regional revitalization strategies through the lens of corporates
