On February 11, the Okayama University International Alumni Association @ouiaa_okayama_university in collaboration with @okdai_sado club members, organized a captivating Japanese tea ceremony workshop.
This event offered current Okayama University students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the traditional art of sado (茶道)⭐
The workshop featured a demonstration by a tea ceremony master, showcasing the intricate process of making Japanese tea.
Following the demonstration, participants had the chance to experience the tea-making process firsthand, guided by the master and club members.
In addition to learning the art of sado, attendees also enjoyed traditional Japanese sweets (和菓子, wagashi) 🍘🍡, which perfectly complemented the tea and added to the cultural experience.
Stay tuned for upcoming events.
