On October 20, 2023, the Okayama University International Alumni Association (hereinafter OUIAA) held the 13th General Assembly of Okayama University.
Vice President for International Affairs and Alumni, Okayama University, and Vice Chairperson of the International Alumni Association Takayoshi Suzuki let the event.
This year, the Chairperson of OUIAA Ms. Guo Yanping was invited to Okayama to participate in the event from the venue. The event started with the opening speech of the Chairperson of OUIAA Ms. Guo Yanping followed by the opening keynotes of the Advisor of the Okayama University International Alumni Association and the Okayama University President Yasutomo NASU. Mr. Keiichi Konaga, the Chairperson of the Okayama University Alumni, has also addressed the opening speech for all participants.
Before moving to the main agenda of the OUIAA General Assembly, a group photo was taken with all participants.
The General Assembly of the OUIAA continued with Prof. Suzuki’s report with the title of “Appointment of the Project Professor and Special Ambassador of the Institute of Global Human Resource Development, Okayama University”.
As it was difficult for the Surabaya Branch of Indonesia to attend, Ms. Tamura, Director of the International Affairs Division, reported on behalf of the Surabaya Branch about branch activities.
This year, the Okayama University International Alumni Association Office has welcomed international students as a part of OUIAA staff to engage in public relations activities that incorporate the perspectives of students. During the event, the OUIAA student staff gave a presentation regarding this year’s OUIAA activities.
The General Assembly was followed by the Vice President for International Affairs and Alumni, Okayama University, and Vice Chairperson of the International Alumni Association Takayoshi Suzuki report on the status of Okayama University.
The OUIAA General Assembly was concluded with the closing remarks from Takayoshi Suzuki, Vice President for International Affairs and Alumni, Okayama University, and Vice Chairperson of the International Alumni Association.
